Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival hosts The NY Cat Film Festival™ and The NY Dog Film Festival™, a collection of inspiring and entertaining short animated, documentary, and narrative films, on Saturday, Feb. 11 at Savor Cinema. 10% of the ticket sales will be donated to local rescues PURRR and Good Karma Pet Rescue and you can meet your furry valentine as the two rescues will also be onsite, from 1 pm - 4 pm, for an adoption event that includes activities for all ages. The NY Cat Film Festival™ screens at 2 pm and explores the fascinating felines who share our lives. The NY Dog Film Festival™ screens at 4 pm and celebrates the love between dogs and their people.
Tickets can be purchased in advance on the website or at the door.
Parking is free in the Courthouse Garage last entrance on SE 5th Ave, on the west side of Savor Cinema.
The NY Cat and NY Dog Film Festivals premiere every year at a theater in New York City and then travels to theaters in cities across the United States and Canada, with a portion of every ticket benefiting a local rescue devoted to cat and canine welfare.
