Let us show you how fun opera is on and off the stage.

Each June, Sarasota Youth Opera offers a summer camp experience like no other! Under the direction of Sarasota Opera’s professional artistic and production staff, campers experience and study the many facets of opera-from performing on a stage to working behind the scenes, from music and acting to opera appreciation and production!

Designed for all skill levels, our annual camp engages young people in the magic of opera. A typical day includes sessions in singing, acting, physical comedy, sets, props, wigs, make-up, and costumes, all led by industry artists, directors, musicians, and technicians.

No audition required; all skill levels are welcome!

Ages 8 to 10
10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Weekdays
Session 1 – June 10 - 14 ($175)
Session 2 – June 17 - 21 ($175)
Combined Sessions – June 10-21 ($300)

Ages 11-18
10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Weekdays
One Session Only – June 10 - 21 ($400)

Early Drop-Off And Late Pick-Up Information
Early Drop Off: 8:30-10:00 AM ($30 for the whole session)
Late Pick Up: 3:00-5:00 PM ($30 for the whole session)
Early Drop Off & Late Pick Up: 8:30-10:00 AM and 3:00-5:00 PM ($50 for the whole session)
