Join Jill Kuehnert and Michaela Peterson of REEF - Reef Environmental Education Foundations, as they take us through actions YOU can take to help save our reefs. This presentation will show that small steps, like learning about marine life or contributing an hour to citizen science, can truly add up to impactful, lasting change for our oceans. They will highlight REEF’s mission to empower people of all backgrounds and abilities to take action for ocean health -- through fish surveys and other accessible conservation activities, through education programs, and through visiting their new Ocean Exploration Center when it opens next year.
Come early to see the History of Diving Museum's brand new featured exhibit - Dive Into Art: Fintastic Fish of Florida! This exhibit features artworks created by students across the Keys, as well as by the Art Guild of the Purple Isles. These creations will have a theme of reef conservation, as well as sustainable fishing and aquaculture, complete with more information about these essential practices that help organizations like REEF achieve their goals.
