HAO YANG | Guitar Recital

Join us for an evening of guitar brilliance with Hao Yang, a rising star in the classical guitar world, known for her impressive string of competitive achievements.

In 2024, she earned top honors at the prestigious Koblenz International Guitar Competition “Hubert Käppel,” one of the most challenging and respected contests in classical guitar. That same year, she second first prize at the GFA International Concert Artist Competition, securing her place among the elite guitarists of her generation. As a chamber music enthusiast, Yang made her Carnegie Hall debut premiering the guitar duo Talking Guitars by renowned composer Paul Lansky, alongside JIJI.

Yang presents a program featuring works by Diabelli, Maw, Regondi, Bach, and a Romantic Period set with the works of Mendelssohn, Schubert, and Schumann.
