Light in the Shadows is the Master Chorale’s inaugural “Concert for a Cause,” a new initiative that will spotlight organizations making a positive impact in our community. The Alzheimer’s Association was chosen because people with Alzheimer’s often recognize and respond to music that has held meaning in their lives. Music knits our memories together. This concert will feature some of the most memorable popular songs, inspirational songs and excerpts from two poignant works written about Alzheimer’s disease and the Alzheimer’s experience.
TEN PERCENT OF THE TICKET REVENUE FROM THESE CONCERTS WILL BE DONATED TO THE ALZHEIMER’S ASSOCIATION.
