The Dick Lowenthal Big Band, with vocalist Lisanne Lyons, will perform jazz arrangements of many of the most important Broadway show composers. This will include George Gershwin, Jerome Kern, Cole Porter, Rodgers and Hammerstein, and others.
A special part of the program will also include newly discovered songs of Duke Ellington that have been arranged for big band by Grammy nominated arranger Rich DeRosa and have not been previously performed in public performances in the United States.
