The Manuel Artime Theater

The Manuel Artime Theater, originally the Riverside Baptist Church, has transitioned from a community center into a dedicated performing arts venue in Little Havana. Purchased by the City of Miami in 1975 and renamed in 1982 in honor of Cuban Brigade 2506 hero Dr. Manuel Artime Buesa, the venue no longer primarily serves as a community center. Instead, it has become a hub for cultural performances, including concerts, festivals, and theatrical productions, celebrating the area's rich heritage. While its focus has shifted, the theater remains a vital part of Miami's cultural landscape, offering diverse programming for the community
