Cinema Paradiso

Surrounded by fine restaurants in the heart of downtown Hollywood, Cinema Paradiso's location is the perfect night-out for dinner and a movie. The intimate 82-seat arthouse theater is equipped with comfortable stadium seats, state-of-the-art sound and projection, and concessions that include beer and wine. Programmed and operated by the Broward County Film Society (the 501(c)(3) organization that brings you the annual Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival) American Indie and international films are presented daily at Cinema Paradiso. Cinema Paradiso opened its doors October 19, 2013 - just days before the start of annual film festival - and became the first theater in Downtown Hollywood for decades. Broward-based architect Joseph Kaller transformed the store-front, which was once a pottery store. His vision respects the property’s “Old Hollywood” charm with a Deco Moderne line and decorative façade. Look for the digital marquee above the theater doors.
