Master Chorale Performances with New World Symphony
Three dynamic collaborations with the New World Symphony unite two of South Florida's premier musical organizations, promising an unforgettable season of artistic triumph and cultural enrichment.
The first collaboration takes place on October 26, 2024, with a performance of Gustav Holst's The Planets at the Adrienne Arsht Center in Miami. This orchestral suite, celebrated for its vivid portrayal of the astrological characters of the planets, includes the ethereal choral finale, Neptune, creating a mystical, other-worldly effect.
Master Chorale returns to Miami on January 18-19, 2025, to perform Arnold Schoenberg's A Survivor from Warsaw with the New World Symphony at the New World Center. This powerful composition recounts the experiences of a Holocaust survivor, delivering a message of resilience and remembrance.
The final collaboration of the season will be on March 15, 2025, with a performance of Benjamin Britten's War Requiem at the Adrienne Arsht Center in Miami.
