Arts Ballet Theatre of Florida the 2022-2023 Season

Celebrating its 25th Anniversary


Arts Ballet Theatre of Florida is preparing to celebrate its 25th anniversary during the 2022-2023 season. The company founded by Vladimir Issaev supported by Nina Allen and Marisa Parmeggiani, will present a dazzling array of performances, featuring 20 dancers, guests artists including former principals of Arts Ballet, VISCB Alumni and additionally to the regular program, a series of events to celebrate all year long.


Arts Ballet Theatre of Florida will officially open its season this coming October presenting a neo classical and classical repertoire, including Issaev’s Shostakovich Suites, El Encuentro, Nebrada’s Pentimento and classical Asaf Messerer’s Spring Waters, both at the Aventura Arts & Cultural Center and at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts.


The Nutcracker and Chipollino will be among the productions for December of 2022 and March of 2023, while there will be one closing spectacular gala on April 23 at the Parker Playhouse of Fort Lauderdale, bringing guest international artists and presenting new and old repertoire including Nebrada’s Double Staff, Taiko, excerpts from Le Corsaire, and Stravinsky’s Firebird.


There will be several honorees, internationally acclaimed dancers and choreographers.

To top of it all, Maestro Vladimir Issaev will also be celebrating his 60th artistic anniversary as an important member of the international dance community.

 

With a refreshed logo sparkling for the 25th anniversary and new additions to the Board of Directors, Arts Ballet Theatre of Florida will also include several collateral events, such as The Nutcracker Tea Party, The Nutcracker Silver Anniversary Celebration, The Wine and Cheese gathering event, several Alumni receptions throughout the year and the creation of the Alumni Association along with the company’s participation at the International Ballet Festival of Miami, the Daniel Lewis Dance Sampler, Men Who Dance, the Miami International Ballet Celebration, the International Young Dancers Festival in Hong Kong and many more events to be announced soon.
