Volunteer Days: Invasive Plant Removal Days at Deering Estate
The Deering Estate is dedicated to preserving and protecting the natural ecosystems, native plants and wildlife through wise stewardship and best conservation management practices. With over 450 acres it is difficult to get every single invasive plant so we need your help to maintain the natural habitat as pristine as possible! Invasive plant removal includes weeding, cutting, and manual removal of plant material. Record of volunteer hours can be provided. Saturday, May 14, 2022 (9AM-12PM) – At Deering Powers Property. Ages 15+. PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED
