The Music of Anthony Davis—Ensemble Ibis and Frost Opera Theater
Fri 04/15/2022Shawn Crouch and Alan Johnson, directors Opera News called Frost 2022 Distinguished Visiting Composer-In-Residence Anthony Davis "a national treasure," for his pioneering work in opera. He won the 2020 Pulitzer Prize in Music for The Central Park Five, and recently completed an opera about the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre. The program includes excerpts from Davis’ operas and other works.
