Musicfor Families - Percussion Musical Morning
“Musicfor Families” is created with Musicfor America in partnership with Deerfield Beach Cultural Committee and Deerfield Beach Kiwanis. This is a hands-on experience for parents and students of all ages, featuring the four musical instrument families. Join some of our community’s leading percussionists to explore percussion instruments in everything from African drumming, to steel drum music, American jazz, Brazilian Samba, classical repertoire and more. Explore the music and the composers who wrote it, enjoy music-related crafts, and time to personally explore each instrument up close under the guidance of the presenting musicians.
