MIAMI DANCES MAY PERFORMANCES

As the South Florida dance season comes to a close, Miami Dances returns for a second year with a celebratory finale showcasing a diverse lineup of vibrant multi-genre and multi-cultural dance. The event, hosted by Miami Dance Hub, presents two unique performances at Sandrell Rivers Theater in Miami. The broad range of genres reflect the cultural diversity of South Florida and includes Flamenco, Modern Dance, Afro-Cuban, Classical, and Neo-classical Ballet, and more.

On Friday, May 10 the evening begins at 6:30 p.m. Enjoy a drink and a pre-show solo performance, in the theater lobby by dance artist, Junior Domingos. The main performance begins at 7 p.m. and features 7 top South Florida dance organizations: Ballet Flamenco La Rosa, Aeon De La Cruz and Nicole Pedraza, Chachi Perez and Carne Viva Dance Theatre, Dance NOW! Miami, Dimensions Dance Theatre of Miami, Emily Ricca, and Pioneer Winter Collective.

On Saturday, May 11 the evening begins at 6:30 p.m. Enjoy a drink and a pre-show solo performance, in the theater lobby by dance artist, Reshma Anwar. The main performance begins at 7 p.m. and features 6 top dance organizations: Arts Ballet Theatre of Florida, Ballet Vero Beach, Clarita Filgueiras, Karen Peterson and Dancers, Randolph Ward, RTW Dance and Syncopate Collective.

Each performance will culminate with a post-show panel discussion and Q&A with artistic directors and/or artists.
