After being released from a juvenile detention center, 18-year-old Wellington (Baby) finds himself alone and adrift on the streets of São Paulo, without any contact from his parents and lacking the resources to rebuild his life. In a porn theatre he encounters Ronaldo, a mature man, who teaches him new ways of surviving. Gradually, their relationship turns into a turbulent affair oscillating between exploitation and protection, jealousy and complicity. The film shows us the mean streets of São Paulo can offer danger or opportunity, and for Baby, they deliver both. Baby is a sexy and stylish vision of life on the margins.
