Join this exhibition walkthrough and learn about the concepts behind the exhibition Silent Narrator/Curious Spectator. This walkthrough will feature artist talks with The Frank’s Chief Curator, Juliana Forero. Silent Narrator/Curious Spectator observes the passing of time and the seemingly passive observation of life events in a state of invisibility, inviting to inner reflection and memory recollection. The transient nature and impermanence of the present is reflected in the delicate nature of the materials in this exhibition, such as printed silk, organza, rice paper, and sculptures made of weaved rope hanging from the ceiling. Some artworks commemorate ancestors with sculptures in terracotta and through the weaving of ropes, connecting the past with this instant.
