Martha/Mary Concerts presents the best of current jazz - the kind of music that brings together both jazz aficionados and those who love good music played by musicians who love what they do. Pianist/bandleader Emmet Cohen is one of the most in-demand musicians in New York and has quickly become an integral part of the cross-generational jazz community. Cohen’s trio has become a first-call rhythm section for top vocalists and instrumentalists, in addition to being a popular headlining band in its own right. Cohen has appeared in varied international jazz events, including the Newport, Monterey, Detroit, North Sea, Bern, Edinburgh, and Jerusalem jazz festivals, as well as the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival and the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics in Russia.

This Covid-conscious outdoor show will take place on the La Merced Chapel Plaza. Masks are required, hand sanitizing stations provided and social distanced seating enforced. Bring your favorite lawn chair and get ready to swing!
