The Alhambra Orchestra, conducted by Daniel Andai, concludes its season with a free performance at the Wertheim Performing Arts Center presenting the blockbuster Afro-American Symphony by Harlem Renaissance composer William Grant Still and a famous Mozart piece, the virtuosic Sinfonia Concertante with dramatic solos for both violin and viola. Miami’s own Michael Klotz, FIU professor of viola, and Scott Flavin, University of Miami professor of violin, are the featured soloists. Bring your friends and family to this memorable event. The Alhambra Orchestra is Miami’s community orchestra, dedicated to promoting live classical performances and music education.
