Symphony of the Americas presents their Hispanic & Italian Heritage Month Tribute, "Legendary Lecuona." A major exponent of Spanish & Latin Music, and master of classical repertoire, Thomas Tirino (piano) has performed at the Bolshoi & St. Petersburg, Lincoln Center, with Boston Pops, and numerous European orchestras. Time chose his Lecuona recording as one of its "10 Best," and Gramophone called his “cut glass virtuosity & seductive charm truly formidable.” Author of Lecuona’s Music -The Complete Edition, he will perform a premiere Lecuona arrangement.
