Event Description
Take students on a journey into American history as they learn about the life and adventures of Sacagawea, a young, Native American woman and key member of the Lewis & Clark Expedition. Traveling from the Missouri River to the Pacific Ocean with Captains Merriweather Lewis and William Clark, Sacagawea hiked through mountains and across dangerous waters to help open up the American West. In this original production, students learn how Sacagawea became an interpreter, negotiator, friend and heroine to two of America's famous explorers, and eventually became an American legend.
