Life gives us lemons. For musician Mandy Harvey, her lemon was a connective tissue disorder that caused her to lose her hearing when she was eighteen, but that wouldn’t stop her from achieving her dreams. Using visual tuners and muscle memory to hit her pitch, Harvey overcame her adversity by ‘feeling the beat’ and wow’ed audiences all over the world during her run on America’s Got Talent with her jazzy, upbeat and soul-filled vocals. Now, she’s traveling the country with ukulele in-hand to perform her hits and show us that even the sourest lemons can make sweet, sweet lemonade.
