The Frank welcomes children and their caretakers for Storytime Hour! This month we're celebrating freedom with the book "Juneteenth for Mazie" by Floyd Cooper, followed by a guided art activity.
June 19th at 7am:
Join The Frank for a virtual artist talk with Jamie Robertson. Jamie Robertson is a visual artist and educator who works in photography and video. Born and raised in Houston, her Texas roots inform her practice as she investigates the landscape of the American South as a living archive of Black life. Beginning with her own family, Robertson’s work physically and spiritually engages the land as a primary witness to Black resistance, solace, and power.
