A powerful innovator meets a brilliant interpreter on the stage when Ludwig van Beethoven and Emanuel Ax connect for an exciting evening of great music. Beethoven’s genius carried the piano on its evolution from a salon instrument to a concert powerhouse, a journey Emanuel Ax traces in three magical sonatas and music that may have inspired them.
The Broward Center Arts Ambassador Lyn Farmer offers a pre-concert talk and wine tasting one hour prior to each classical performance. Presentations are complimentary to ticket holders. Alcohol served to those 21yrs and older.
