Orchestra Miami’s popular series of free outdoor concerts returns! This year’s special guest soloist is Cellist Aaron Merritt, who will perform Beautiful and classic Concerto for Cello N. 1 in C Major, Hob.VIIb:1 by Joseh Haydn. Also on the program is the joyous Symphony N. 1 in D Major, Hob, I:1 by Haydn and the dramatic Symphony N. 25 in G Minor, K. 183 by Mozart. And of course, we have Beethoven- the first movement of the “Serioso” string quartet N. 11, Op. 95 performed by the orchestra. The 30 musicians of Orchestra Miami will be led by Artistic Director Elaine Rinaldi.
Friday, February 28th, 8 PM at the Miami Beach Bandshell, 7275 Collins Avenue in Miami Beach. Free parking available after 6 PM on the west side of Collins Avenue between 72nd & 73rd streets. Please no outside food or beverages; food and beverages available for purchase. The concert is free with an advance reservation and with a suggested $10 per person donation. At the door, admission is $10 minimum donation per person. For those who would like to hold their seat in advance, reservations can be made for $25.
