THE MIAMI SHOW

The Miami Show, produced by Luxe Events, will be held at the Miami Dade Expo Center on February 6 – 9, 2020. 

Featuring some of the best Art, Antique, Jewelry, Contemporary Art and Design exhibitors from around the world, guests will have the opportunity to view a range of offerings from over 60 exhibitors including fabulous antiques, luxury home décor, and garden displays. The four-day event is sure to become the ultimate destination for new and ardent antique collectors and those seeking design inspiration.

This exciting event will feature illustrious domestic & international dealers showcasing a curated selection of furniture, art, sculpture, and objects alongside jewelry, textiles, horticulture, glass, silver, ceramics and more. 

We knew the show timing was perfect for savvy Miamians, collectors, and homeowners from South Florida and further afield, including travelers from around the U.S, South America, Europe, and Canada, looking for inspiration and exceptional works of art and antiquity.  The Miami Show will be filled with one-of-a-kind treasure that can only be seen at this event, with exhibitors showcasing items from every corner of the globe.

One new exhibitor, 917 Fine Arts of Miami, FL, offers work of highest quality and unique contemporary Native American arts, e.g. Navajo rugs, pottery, and fine jewelry with exclusive designs. They also offer contemporary paintings in various mediums from active artists, which are mainly showed at major international and national art fairs. 

 

Greenwald Antiques of Cleaveland, OH specializes in 18th, 19th, and early 20th-century fine art, antiques, and jewelry. They carry pieces by esteemed artists and designers including, Cartier, Demetre Chiparus, Carl Fabergé, Eugene Lanceray, Jules Leleu, Gustav Moreau, Joshua Reynolds, Viktor Schreckengost, Augustus St-Gaudens, Paul Storr, Louis Comfort Tiffany, and Van Cleef & Arpels, and have recently been expanding to quality mid-century modern art and furnishings, including pieces by Paul Evans, la Maison Jansen, and Freeman Sithole. 

High-end art and antique expert, Jan Matheson, of Matheson’s Gallery, has more than 40 years of experience in the buying and selling of antiques, jewelry, art, and more. Jan is buying the best merchandise to display and is excited to meet the Miami Show’s clientele as she is bringing a curated selection of decorative pieces and will be available to make appointments with those who have items they are interested in selling.  

Hailing from the mountains of Blue Ridge, GA, Benchmark of Palm Beach is one of the most recognized names in estate jewelry, diamonds, and watches. Carrying a unique selection of one-of-a-kind jewelry, they have the discriminating eye of a true fashionista.  

We have an exciting line-up of entertainment. One of the highlights for our visitors will include an opportunity to stroll by a showcase of gorgeous classic and antique cars and trucks on Sunday, Feb 9th from 11 am to 5 pm. From vintage Fords to Ferraris, auto collectors and enthusiasts canshare memories of a by-gone era and take instagrammable selfies with the vehicle of their choice!  

If you’re looking to adopt a furry friend, the Humane Society of Miami will be on-site on Saturday, February 8th from 11 am until 2 pm with a variety of four-legged friends sure to charm you with their puppy dog eyes and playful spirit. “The Miami Show is proud to present this dog focused-initiative in support of local pet adoption,” said Canady. Representatives from the Humane Society will be on-site to share pet adoption information and accept donations.  

President &CEO, Andrea Canady, said, “The first edition of this show promises to have an incredible line up of dealers selling everything from antiques to luxury home décor pieces. Our exhibitors are very enthusiastic about the new concept and are saving their best pieces for this event, so discovering what they are all going to exhibit is going be to extremely exciting.”  

South Florida has never had such a diverse antique show featuring an amazing variety of unique finds from around the world.
