About Waxy
Waxy is a Miami-based DJ collective representing women in the electronic, experimental, and dance music community who are passionate about playing records. Founded in 2021, the artists joined forces to amplify each other while providing more opportunities for femme vinyl DJs to be seen and heard. Curating an elevated party vibe wherever they go, the crew's crates run deep with sounds ranging from Chicago, Detroit, and NYC house music to baile funk, electro, '90s and international dance, breaks, and dark disco. Each DJ's collection has its own flavor but always expect a unique sampling of underground or classic grooves to be moved by. The current artist roster includes founding members Phaxas and Hiltronix along with Laura of Miami, Ostara, House of Pris, and Carozilla.

Tickets are only required for museum. Live music is free on the terrace with RSVP

About Carozilla
A Miami-born Cuban/Honduran vinyl selector and emcee, Caroline Cardenas aka Carozilla has a monthly residency called Ladies Night within Miami's first Hifi vinyl listening lounge, Dante's Hifi+. The night highlights women selectors from Miami and beyond, with Caroline serving as DJ, emcee, and co-curator for the night alongside Music Director Rich Medina. She is also a part of an all-female vinyl collective called Waxy.

As an emcee and selector, she enjoys sprinkling insights of music history throughout her sets to enlighten her listeners, as well as bringing the energy to make them dance and bring the fun. Her four years of experience as the manager and event coordinator at Technique Records, Miami's largest and most eclectic independent record store, has allowed her to expand her musical palette and knowledge, gaining a love for a variety of sounds, from synthesizer-driven music, rhythmic Latin sounds, and all music that is thought-provoking or makes you want to dance. Expect no limits and good vibrations during her journey of vinyl selection.

About Hiltronix
Born and raised in Miami, Hilary Bell aka Hiltronix picked up her first turntables in 2003. She began to steadily home in on her craft and in 2013 she began a residency at Miami's infamous hangout The Corner. She has since been meticulously adding to her record collection whose musical roots have a heavy influence of Miami bass, freestyle, breaks, and many things electronic. Her sets are dynamic and versatile which makes for an edge-of-your-seat genre-bending and rump-shaking experience.

Hiltronix's notable performances include sharing a bill with New Order at the Fillmore, opening for Lady Miss Kier, iii Points Music Festival, and Coconut Grove Arts Festival. You can find her playing in venues the likes of Floyd, 1-800-Lucky, Revolution Live, Dante's HiFi, Miami Sound Bar, and she has a long-standing residency at Wynwood's time-honored staple Gramps. She is also a founding member of the all-female vinyl collective WAXY.

About Laura of Miami
Bogota-born, Miami-raised, and world-traversed, Laura of Miami has put her heart where her home is. M I A M I. Breathing in the '80s and '90s piqued a curiosity for sound and soul that exhaled several DJ residencies spinning what everyone else wasn't. Everything is danceable and you'll find your most unimpressed patron in an uncontrollable bounce. By night, an excavator/educator of rarities that suggest some serious digging, co-founder of Miami's own Extra Credit party at Floyd, and Waxy Crew family. By day, chief at Klangbox, graphic designer, tame road rager, and coffee connoisseur to keep up with herself.

About Ostara
Ostara has been into electronic music for eons. With regular religious visits to legendary clubs such as AAHZ, The Edge, and FIRESTONE in Orlando; HPC, 911, and DNA in Tampa; and MARZ in Cocoa Beach; her ears were trained with performances by legends such as Rabbit in the Moon, DJ Three, Sasha & Digweed, and Kimball Collins just to name a few during the early '90s.

Her knowledge of untimely electronic dance music is profound. From dancer to now gracing the turntables and production, her passion continues in music through collecting records and playing with a pleasurable attitude. Ostara managed to gracefully execute and produce legendary groundbreaking DIY warehouse raves for Blkmarket Membership with her partner Taimur from 2008–2017 in NYC, introducing all of your favorite artists until today.

Ostara is one of the co-founders of record shop T Bag Records, record label Blkmarket Music, 1/3 of the production trio T.A.O, and a resident of WAXY. She is prolific in orchestrating the party event series for Blkmarket Music, curates all of the in-store Sessions, and has been integral in connecting and fabricating the underground dance music community.
