Art with Intention: Frida Kahlo & Homage Contest

Join us for Art with Intention: a Frida Kahlo-inspired paint and sip event with a special focus on creating traditional Mexican retablos. Immerse yourself in the vibrant world of Mexican folk art as you learn to make your own retablo—a devotional painting typically done on tin, depicting spiritual or symbolic imagery, often used as a form of prayer or gratitude.

During her lifetime, Kahlo collected around two thousand retablos displayed around her home. The purchase of a ticket includes a complimentary first beverage from a selection of wines, beers, juices, and sodas to choose from to enjoy as you make art.

If you're Frida Kahlo mega-fan, come dressed in your best homage to the iconic artist for the chance to win a prize! Want an extra shot at winning, or not ready to dress to impress? Purchase raffle tickets ahead of time for $2 per ticket! Raffle winners will be announced at the end of each session.
